Job Description:
As a Yard Laborer, you will perform a variety of different tasks including loading, unloading, and management of materials in our Fredericktown location that support the successful operation of our projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Load, unload, and help manage different materials that support our construction projects.

- Operate Cat, Case, or Hyster forklifts of various sizes.

- Receive requests and pull orders for the field in a safe and efficient manner.

- Perform tasks involving the use of hands and tools.

- Moving material from storage yards within the Fredericktown area.

- Properly secure equipment and materials for transport.

Education and Experience:

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Good communication skills

- Good driving record with valid driver's license

- Load securement knowledge

- Ability to work independently or in a group

- Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders

- Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required. (Must be physically able to perform work tasks)

- Lift and carry objects weighing 50-70 pounds

- Follow specific directions

- Stand and walk for long periods

- Read and understand measuring tools

- Perform other routine duties as directed by supervisor

- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions/all seasons
