· Ensure adherence to SOX controls and support internal and external audit requirements.
· Perform final review and approval of Chart of Accounts change requests.
· Lead, coach, and develop 5 direct and 12 indirect reports, including two AP Team Leads and two contractors; make staffing and resource-allocation decisions and address escalated employee matters.
· Build strong relationships with Supply Chain, Treasury, Midstream Finance, Corporate Accounting, Tax, auditors, field administrators, P-Card holders, banks, vendors, and senior leaders.
· Prepare and deliver clear reporting on KPIs, compliance trends, projects, process improvements, and emerging risks.
Project Fusion and Oracle Fusion
Serve as the primary Cash Processing business representative and subject matter lead for Project Fusion. This includes frequent participation in design and implementation activities and accountability for ensuring the future state supports operational, financial, control, and business requirements.
· Represent AP, Expense Management, and AR Cash Receipts requirements in project meetings, workshops, testing, and implementation planning.
· Review and influence Oracle Fusion configuration and future-state process decisions affecting Cash Processing.
· Coordinate business validation, data cleansing, data readiness, implementation activities, and team preparedness.
· Make or coordinate vendor data management decisions and identify impacts to processes and controls.
· Keep the Cash Processing team informed, support adoption, resolve implementation issues, and escalate material risks or decisions.
