This is an opportunity to shape meaningful experiences, build lasting relationships, and make a measurable impact across a global organization.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the full planning lifecycle for complex in-person, virtual, and hybrid events — from initial concept through post-event reconciliation — ensuring seamless execution at every stage

- Oversee budget management, invoice processing, and financial controls, maintaining accountability for cost efficiency and adherence to firm procedures
- Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and workflow schedules, proactively communicating updates to clients and suppliers to ensure accurate and timely execution
- Lead the vendor RFP process, contract negotiations, and site inspections, maintaining independence and integrity in all vendor relationships
- Provide strategic recommendations to business groups on event design, programming, and innovation, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
- Serve as a role model for communication and collaboration, operating with a "no surprises" commitment to business partners and stakeholders
- Identify and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across aligned business groups, ensuring service delivery supports their objectives and the firm's event standards
- Partner with Events & Meetings colleagues to share industry insights, promote best practices, and drive consistency and synergies across the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Meeting & Event Management concepts and 8+ years applied experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-faceted events across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats with attendee counts ranging from 10 to 2,000
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, global, and multicultural project teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong contract negotiation skills with experience managing vendor relationships, attrition risk, and cancellation clauses
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across businesses, functions, and geographies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, concise messages to diverse audiences including senior stakeholders
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
