About the role

Major responsibilities:

- Timely execution of Process Planning and standard time calculation (by time study/ estimation/ MOST) for manual and machining area.

- Analysis of MIS and initiate Process improvement.

- Timely preparation of process routings for new material & aggregates

- Layout development for Lean mfg. multi-tasking and skill elimination.

- Marginal analysis and capacity calculation for plant.

- Identify & Execution of Lean projects, waste elimination in existing process.

- Cost reduction program in sub-contracting and logistic service.

- Standard work instruction and process for all products.

- Selection of new equipment for required process.

Functional Competencies:

- Knowledge of Tool-Engineering,

- Process Planning, Time Study & Time Estimation, knowledge of  work Study

- Knowledge & Hands on experience of SAP-PP module & MS Office

- Knowledge of MOST Technique

- Knowledge of Auto –CAD.

- Exposure to Lean mfg. process

- Knowledge of manufacturing process for engineering industry

- Knowledge of APS system
