Medical Assistant, LPN, & Registered Nurse Student Placement|Accepting 2027 Students

We are excited to begin accepting applications for 2027 student placements for Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, and Registered Nurse students. Our clinical learning experiences provide meaningful opportunities to develop hands-on healthcare skills in a collaborative, mission-driven environment while serving diverse and underserved populations.

Learning opportunities may include, but are not limited to:

- Providing patient-centered care across the lifespan in ambulatory care settings.

- Developing clinical skills such as patient intake, vital signs, documentation, care coordination, patient education, and clinical procedures appropriate to the student's level of training and program requirements.

- Collaborating with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team.

- Gaining experience with chronic disease management, preventive care, population health initiatives, and quality improvement activities.

- Learning about integrated, whole-person care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving rural and underserved communities.

- Building professional communication, clinical judgment, and healthcare teamwork skills in a fast-paced patient care environment.
Students are supported by experienced clinical professionals and preceptors who provide guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth throughout the placement experience.

Student placements are determined based on educational requirements, learning objectives, organizational capacity, and the availability of qualified preceptors. Please ensure all application questions are completed thoroughly.
