We're looking for a lawyer who can help us build useful AI products while making deliberate decisions about data, privacy and customer trust.
As Product and Privacy Counsel at Endex, you'll advise product and engineering on AI features, data practices and privacy from early design through launch. You'll identify regulatory questions that affect our product and customer use cases, translate requirements into practical decisions and coordinate specialist advice when needed.
Your Key Responsibilities

- Own Privacy Analysis: Evaluate processing purposes, retention, access, cross-border transfers and third-party arrangements against relevant requirements.
- Translate Requirements: Turn legal analysis into practical product requirements and clear internal guidance.
- Support Customer Trust: Partner with commercial counsel on data-protection terms and accurate explanations of product behavior.
- Translate Evolving Requirements: Track relevant AI and privacy developments, develop practical review guidance and coordinate local specialist advice when needed.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Counsel: You hold the legal qualifications required for your practice and have relevant product and privacy counseling experience.
- Product Counseling Experience: You've advised teams building software or other technical products.
- Technical Curiosity: You can engage deeply with engineers and ask how a system actually works.
- Practical Judgment: You propose workable options and explain the trade-offs.
- Product Counseling Judgment: You can turn a technical design and an evolving legal question into specific options, documented reasoning and usable product guidance.
