Senior Lead Engineer

Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Johnson Electric (Jiangmen) Co Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading complex engineering projects, developing innovative solutions for automotive systems, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities**

* Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality objectives.
* Apply strong analytical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues within automotive systems.
* Design and develop new products and systems, utilizing engineering design software and applying sound electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
* Implement a data-driven approach to engineering decisions and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Drive digitalization efforts within engineering processes and product development.
* Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and customer-oriented skills.
* Ensure all designs and products meet stringent quality management system (QMS) requirements.
* Conduct thorough validation testing to verify product performance and reliability.
* Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork and cooperation.
* Lead and motivate project teams, demonstrating strong team leadership capabilities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of motion systems and related technologies.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in automotive systems design and development.
* Demonstrated expertise in Analytical Problem Solving and a Data Driven Approach.
* Proficiency in Engineering Design Software.
* Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering Concepts and Mechanical Engineering Principles.
* Experience with Motion Systems.
* Solid experience in Project Management and Quality Management System (QMS).
* Excellent Communication, Teamwork and Cooperation, and Customer-Oriented skills.
* Proven ability in Team Leadership and Validation Testing.
* Experience with Digitalization initiatives in an engineering context is highly desirable.
