Accountabilities:

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of internal payroll policies, local employment legislation, and government regulations applicable to the countries supported across the APAC region.
- Review payroll reports, investigate discrepancies and out-of-balance figures, and implement appropriate corrections to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Validate and approve payroll reports by cross-checking employee information, internal records, and client-provided inputs.
- Maintain payroll schedules, key performance indicators (KPIs), internal reporting, and master payroll input records.
- Ensure employee information and records are accurate, complete, and updated before each payroll processing cycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll-related queries, providing timely and effective responses.
- Collaborate with clients to communicate and obtain country-specific payroll and employment requirements throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate payroll funding and billing activities, including preparing charging sheets and generating sales invoices.
- Maintain and securely store employee documentation throughout the employment lifecycle, ensuring compliance with local record-keeping and regulatory requirements.
- Process changes to employment contracts and employee details, including salary adjustments, benefit updates, and other post-onboarding modifications.
- Respond promptly to requests and queries from employees, internal support teams, implementation and client-facing teams, and external clients.
- Manage compliant employee offboarding processes for both permanent and fixed-term contracts, covering voluntary and involuntary terminations.
- Ensure required background checks are completed, including any checks outstanding after the implementation and onboarding stages.
- Identify potential payroll risks and operational issues, taking proactive measures to resolve and prevent recurring discrepancies.
Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in payroll administration, payroll coordination, HR operations, or a related field.
- Established understanding of payroll concepts, processes, and local payroll legislation across the countries supported.
- Experience managing payroll activities and employee information throughout the employment lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, payroll processing, and offboarding.
- Good knowledge of payroll reconciliation, reporting, employee records management, and payroll compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and the relevant local language.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify, investigate, resolve, and prevent payroll discrepancies.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive employee information, payroll calculations, and financial documentation.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach when communicating with employees, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams in a multicultural and international working environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new payroll systems, processes, and country-specific regulatory requirements.
Benefits:
- Fully remote working opportunities with flexible arrangements, allowing employees to choose how and where they work.
- Flexible working policies designed to support personal commitments and work-life balance.
- Paid bonding leave to welcome and spend time with a new family member.
- Two paid charitable days to support causes and community initiatives that matter to you.
- Annual corporate bonus or sales incentive plan eligibility.
- Reward and recognition programs celebrating individual contributions, achievements, and professional success.
- Access to two learning platforms to support continuous professional development and learning at your own pace.
