Position Summary:   Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating   the nursing   care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing .    Provides leadership and supervision to CNA/SNA and other healthcare workers as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Assesses each patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, nutritional, and functional needs

- Plans and implements a plan of care with the   appropriate nursing   interventions specific to the age population served

- Assesses educational needs of patient/ families implementing teaching strategies

- Evaluate care given including the patient response

- Documents nursing care in the medical record

- Provides delegation and supervision to CNA, SNA and other healthcare workers who   assist   the nurse in the plan of care

- Administers medications and treatments as prescribed

- Promotes a clean and safe environment of care,   utilizing   the SAFE error prevention habits

- Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct

Required Qualifications :

Education and Training :

- CPR certified

- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois or eligible for licensure per Nurse Practice Act

The expected pay for this position is listed below:
$35.00 - $42.50
The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
