Manager - Sales (Road Freight)

What You Can Expect :

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

- Understand customer logistics requirements and propose suitable Road Freight solutions.

- Prepare and present commercial proposals and negotiate pricing and terms with customers.

- Achieve defined sales targets for revenue, volumes, and profitability.

- Develop a strong sales pipeline and ensure regular follow-up with prospects.

- Conduct market research to identify potential customers, market trends, and competitor activities.

- Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, and other internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery.

- Ensure timely resolution of customer queries and escalations.

- Monitor customer profitability and identify opportunities for account growth and cross-selling.

- Maintain accurate sales reports, customer data, and pipeline updates in the relevant systems.

- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing guidelines, and commercial processes.

What You Bring:

- 5–10 years of experience in Business Development/Sales within Road Freight, Transportation, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding.

- Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue generation .

- Strong understanding of domestic road freight/FTL/LTL solutions.

- Existing network of customers and industry contacts will be an advantage.

- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

- Result-oriented with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
